A Study of Relationship among Visitors' Background, Recreation Experience and Satisfaction – A Case Study of The Shu's Tourism Pottery in Ying-Ge District, New Taipei city

Popis: | 101 This study examined tourism factory tourist’s recreation experience and satisfaction of Shu’s Pottery in Yingge A total number of 385 valid questionnaires were collected from tourists at Shu’s Pottery tourism factory through on-site face-to-face surveys. The questionnaire consisted of three parts, including “Demographic statistics,” “Recreation Experience strategies,” and “Satisfaction strategies.” Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation of SPSS 18.0 were used to analyze data. The findings of the research are as follows: 1.Most of the tourists who visited the sites were female, single, aged 31 to 40 years old, from northern Taiwan, and have undergraduate qualifications. The majorities of them were students, and people from the service industry. Most of them are self-drive. Their main source of site information came from their friends and relatives, and most of them were accompanied by their schoolmates or friends to these sites. Time spent on the sites was usually less than one hour to two hours, and nearly half of the first visit to the factory tour. 2.The tourists' gender, age, marital status, education, occupation, location, monthly income all had significant impact on their recreation experience and satisfaction. 3.The tourists' recreation experience, "intellectuality learning" ranked the highest. The satisfaction, "service and evaluation" ranked the highest. 4.The relationship between recreation experience and satisfaction is positive.
