The Study on the Application of Question-Posting stratety on the Reading Attitude of the Second-Graders

This study investigats the effect of the application of question-posting strategy on the reading attitude of the second-graders with different reading attitude. First, students are divided into two groups : high reading attitude group and low reading attitude group. The teachering materials are the textbook of currency language and literature domain in Kangsyuan edition examined by Ministry of Education. The experiment had lasted for 4 weeks. After teaching, The teachering materials, the textbook of currency language and literature domain in Nanyi edition examined by Ministry of Education, are used for designing the test questions of this program experiment. The test question is based on PIRLS, the reading comprehension achievement test. After the experimental teaching, different reading attitude students will be observed in the the ability of application of question-posting strategy and reading comprehension in different reading attitudes. Conclusions: 1) The application of question-posting strategy and reading attitude interact with each other. It means the effect of the application of question-posting strategy on asking the question and reading comprehension will be different because of different reading attitudes. 2) After the experiment, the post test of “The Question-Posting Strategy Test” shows that the studetns of the experimental group performed better than the students of the control group. 3) Accroding to the feedback of the course teaching, the students think the question-posting strategy is helpful in understanding and organizing the key point of an article and promoting reading interests. They also think PIRLS quiz promotes their script ability of expression, asking ability and they will use the question-posting strategy when reading a new article.
