Popis: | 101 In view of the modern use of portable electronic products, increasing the display function, cause the battery run out of energy quickly, so nowadays to develop an energy-efficient driving integrated circuit is even more important, In this thesis, an ultra-low-power driver chip for TN / STN liquid crystal display (LCD) driver circuit is proposed, with the characteristics of the liquid crystal drive system, the ripple counter, gate clock and asynchronous handshaking mode of energy-saving technology are applied in order to effectively improve the typical synchronization designed for power consumption .An typical driver chip with 500 micro-watts power consumption, dramatically can be reduced as long as 16.5 micro-watt power consumption, improved by as much as 96%.For verifying the proposed circuit,We have designed this ultra low power display driver chip with UMC 0.35um CMOS process. Driver chip specifications are based on BIAS is 3, Duty 4 and operating voltage 3.3V .Moreover, we also have implemented a 27 * 4 LCD driver FPGA prototype circuit, driving the liquid crystal panel dynamic display, measured the performance of the circuit. Experimental results show that this proposed low-power driver chip can be applied to the future of digital cameras, cordless phones, fax machines, household appliances, electronic instruments, thermometers and sphygmomanometers livelihood electrical applications. |
