Popis: | 102 In recent years, the word "smart home" began to appear among us. "Smart home" has become an emerging industry, because it used the "home" as the center and combined with related peripheral industries to jointly promote smart home services. In this paper, we develop a distributed embedded Linux smart home system, which consists of three subsystems: (1) energy recording system, (2) IR appliance control system, (3) ZigBee appliance control system. In this paper, the proposed three subsystems are linked with the designed Web pages. The developed system is designed using the distributed architecture. And a low-cost Raspberry Pi is adopted as the distributed modules. In Raspberry Pi, we installed the Linux operating system, set up Apache server, made use of HTML, PHP, and Python programming language to write Web pages as the man-machine interface. In this paper, the designed Raspberry Pi is then distributed as a network-based module which links digital power meters, infrared communication modules, and ZigBee communication module. Users can query the electricity of the home power and can control electric equipment by a simple operation. Hence the proposed system in this paper can provide us low-cost distributed smart home applications. |
