Stirling engine is a machine that transforms thermal energy to mechanical energy. When Stirling engine running, it didn''t produce pollution and the noise is smaller than the internal combustion engines. It''s an environmentally friendly way to produce electricity. In this thesis, a miniature Stirling engine was assembled. Steel cup was used cylinder, and steel wool was used displac er. Power piston is made of brass. Temperature, voltage and rotation speed were measured after the Stirling engine was built. In the experiment, the maximum voltage of 0.096V was obtained at 247.2rpm. Finally, the influence was investigated separately of temperature and airtight. This study provides some attentions to stirling engine, when making large Stirling engine reference in the future
