Popis: | 101 Port reduction method (PRM) is a method to acquire the scattering matrix of an n-port network from the scattering matrices measured at a reduced port order by terminating certain ports. As the port order is reduced to two, the scattering matrix of an n-port network can be obtained from the measurements using a conventional two-port vector network analyzer. In this thesis, we apply two types of PRM and develop the equations using Agilent ADS microwave commercial software to reduce the order of S-parameters measurement to two-port. Measurement results of four-port reciprocal and non-reciprocal microwave circuits are acquired using the developed ADS equations and verified with those directly using four-port S-parameter measurement. |
