| Popis: | 101 This study uses mainly the relevant data about the foreign banks setting up head offices or branches, domestic banks setting up oversea banks, and regulation revisions to investigate the factors influencing local branches of foreign banks from 1972 to 2012. The study adopts time-series and cross-sectional data to examine the above main topics. The empirical results show that the higher the GNP, GNP per capita, OBU size, number of overseas branches, and favorable regulation revisions, the more the number of local branches of foreign banks. |
