The Inspection and Maintenance of the Prestressed Ground Anchor in Mountains - Yi Lan Exclusive Highway ＃1 as an Example

| Popis: | 101 Due to the geological condition and steep topography of Taiwan, the invasion of typhoons, heavy rainfall and strong earthquakes caused frequent slope collapses and river floods and thus severely damaged the mountain roads. The ground anchor construction method has been brought in Taiwan for more than 40 years, and it is widely used in various mountain road restoration projects. On April 25, 2010, with no special weather condition, the most severe highway landslide event in Taiwan history occurred on National Highway No3, with caused sweral casualties as well as property losses. This incident highlighted the importance of the inspection, monitoring and maintenance equirement over the exiting prestressed ground anchors. In this research, investigation was carried out on various structures, types, configurations, applied prestresses, anti-corrosion protection of ground anchors along with literature review of the subject. Thorough investigation over the existing prestressed ground anchors installed Yi Lan Exclusive Highway ＃1 which is located at Tatung Hsian of Yi Lan County, and the reaults is concluded in this research. Data were collected through this complete project including environmental investigations, ground anchor surveys, ground anchor monitoring, in-depth visual inspections, the electric resistance measurement and the lift-off tests. In addition, are collected, and its slope stability analyses were applied on several landslide sites to provide basic information for the continue testings and maintenance operations during the construction of the prestressed ground anchor, and thus to ensure the safety of human lives and property. |
