Popis: | 101 The competitiveness of an enterprise is represented by its management efficiency, quality of products and customer services, and Six sigma system is just the right tool to help a company advance those abilities. Six sigma came from Motorola Company in 1980’s. Since many worldwide companies, such as GE, and Dell, have aggressively introduced this system in their working processes and gained a huge fruitage. A typical manufacturer in Hosiery Industry is selected the case company. Its products are sold to worldwide several countries, such as USA, European, Japan and the products sold to those areas are requested for high quality. This research employs six sigma systems to improve the case company’s production planning and operation processes to increase product and service quality. DMAIC methodology is used to define key process factor and analyze its root cause then further improve the yield rate by maintaining same production cycle time. |
