The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of learning motivation and effectiveness of integrating these three different teaching methods into mathematical teaching for students with the instruction of "Triangles" and "Guadrangles". A quasi-experimental design was used. Two nonequivalent groups were estimated by their pretest and posttest. The subjects were 118 students, from three classes in the eighth grade in a junior high school in Taichung. The three classes were assigned into two experimental groups and one control group. One of the experimental groups received instruction in which interactive whiteboard was used while the other experimental group received instruction in which PPT briefing were incorporated, and the control group received instruction in which traditional blackboard was utilized. After the teaching experiments, the collected data was further analyzed quantatively and qualitatively. This research adoped two analyzing ways in order to understand the students'' attitudes towards and perceptions of integrating interactive whiteboard as well as PPT briefing into teaching. It is hoped that the result would provide educators or researchers with instructional assistance and future studies. The findings of this research include the followings: First, although the result of the students'' achievements showed that there was no significant difference among the three groups, there were positive learning effects on the students who received interactive whiteboard incorporated instruction and PPT briefing instruction. Second, in terms of the learning motivation, the experimental group who accepted interactive whiteboard incorporated instruction was significantly better than the control group who were taught with traditional blackboard. However, compared with the other experimental group who accepted PPT briefing instruction, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Third, from the collected qualitative data, it was found that students held positive attitudes towards the interactive whiteboard incorporated instruction and PPT briefing instruction .
