In recent years, many companies continuously try to carry out knowledge management systems. However, to establish a company’s knowledge management systems must be supported by supervisors and staffs who created and stored the knowledge into the knowledge base which can be shared by others. Knowledge management systems are not only a simple document management system, but also a flexible knowledge management database. When employees left the jobs, knowledge management systems still have all documents and tools stored and recorded by standard processes. To execute, and adopt the knowledge management and enhance the usage are important tasks of an enterprise to practice the knowledge management. The main problems are the willingness of employees to use the systems and to convert their knowledge into the systems as well as how to practice it. The job to convert the staff’s knowledge into the corporate knowledge is focused on "knowledge sharing". Senge (1997) defined knowledge sharing as “the effective action to help others to develop skills and help others to understand that something was going on”. Its purpose is to help others through the learning process of knowledge sharing. Only employees want to share out their knowledge and which become to be effective corporate knowledge, then knowledge management systems can bring benefits for enterprises. We find that many enterprises can’t get benefits from knowledge management after implementing knowledge management systems. The key issue is that knowledge cannot be shared effectively. The knowledge sharing methods involve different departments and job functions. So it is necessary to adopt knowledge sharing way appropriately and to get better results. Dixon (2000) has proposed that the enterpriseknowledge sharing mechanism is not use one to fits all. The research will address this issue by a case study and to find out what the differences are knowledge sharing methods between different functional departments and functional staffs. Finally, we will proposed a proper way of how to use knowledge sharing methods that can help organizations to get more effectiveness by knowledge management systems. We find out that different functional departments and functional staffs should use different knowledge sharing methods and we proposed some propositions which can be followed when companies implement the knowledge sharing.
