Research on the Innovation Events of Cultural Festival Combining the Watermelon with Pigeon

| Popis: | 101 Under the changing times, the combination of cultural events and sightseeing is the current fashion trends, while Tainan is Taiwan's ancient capital of culture, with numerous cultural celebrations. As the researcher of Tainan, I feel a strong interest in Cultural Festival Combining the Watermelon with Pigeon practiced for years. This study aims to find out the current situation about the residents’ understanding of festivals’ effective cognition, self-identification and behavioral support, and its relationship among them in the area. The research object in the study is Hsuehchia region in Tainan. Stratified sampling method is used. Take the household as a sampling unit, the adult above age 20 can be representative to answer the questionnaire. A total of 384 questionnaires were distributed, the effective response rate of up to 100%. Statistical analysis include reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, independent samples T-test, one-way and ANOVA analysis, questionnaire data analysis. The results of its research are summarized below: 1. The background variables “gender”, “marital status” show no significant difference toward effective cognition, self-identification and behavioral support. 2. The variable “participation and served as a community organization volunteers” shows significant difference toward effective cognition, self-identification and behavioral support. 3. Different variables, like “age”, “education”, “occupation”, and “residence” show significant difference toward effective cognition, self-identification and behavioral support. 4. Residents’ attitudes about “ holding cultural celebrations and activities” show higher correlations among effective cognition, self-identification and behavioral support. |
