Traditional measurement of physiological information is general by using contact mode. Although it has high accuracy advantage, but some people will feel uncomfortable, and the battery of portable or handheld measurement system can not implement for long-term operation. This disadvantage will cause nurses or users to require frequent charged. In this thesis, we adopt high performance infrared thermal image camera to scan and capture human body image. The grayscale image process and convert procedure are provided to detect human body temperature and heart rate. This remote monitoring measurement functions of physiological information are suitable and implemented in the home care or nursing home, large hospitals and health care institutions. The system provides infrared thermal image camera to receive thermal radiation for searching human body region and radiation. The algorithm is applied the elliptical model to search out the positions of human body head and neck, which are capture the higher temperature parts of the neck. We achieve the fast Fourier transform (FFT) method to transfer the temperature’s data from time domain into frequency domain. The information of human body temperature and heart rate(H.R.) are calculated by using the correlation between heart rate and vessel temperature. This physiological information determines physical health symptoms and achieves the concept of physiological information telemetry system.
