A Study of Lean Quotation for Furniture Hardware

| Popis: | 101 With the developing of internet leads world to be a global village. The industry with export expansion can receive immediate message thrgouh messenger or the access of smart phone. The market become more and more competitive. In order to get the leading position in competitive market, efficient and reasonable quotation offering would be the fist step to get the order. Furniture Hardware industry has several of products with complicate production procedure. Some processing must be done in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing ) factory ； any delay in processing will cause the efficient in costing. In this study, taking an example of Furniture Hardware company quotation process, application of lean concept through Value Stream Map analysis and finding out the main wasting points. We use Service Failure Model and Effects Analysis finding out the reason and suggestion to prevent wasting in quotation process. The result is about 40.9% shorten in quotation process time which increasing market competitive as well as improvement of the customer sastification . |
