Popis: | 101 Different ESL teaching methods have already been studied to enhance students’ learning motivations and improve their reading fluency. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of Reader’s Theater (RT) on college students’ learning motivation and reading fluency. 69 college students were recruited to complete a questionnaire, Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ), which was adapted from Pintrich and Smith Mekeachie (1989), and two reading fluency tests. The results showed that learners’ learning motivation was enhanced after RT; reading fluency was not improved after RT; no correlation between learning motivation and reading fluency was found in the research. |
