A Research on Parking Management System Based on RFID and Barcode Technologies

Popis:	101 This study developed a parking lot management system to identify the vacant parking spots and immediately see images of the vehicles currently in that area. In the proposed system, a driver receives two cards upon entering the parking lot: one with a QR-code and the other with radio frequency identification (RFID). The driver places the RFID card in her/his own vehicle for positioning and the QR-code provides access to information related to parking conditions. This is accomplished by deploying RFID readers and cameras around the parking lot. The RFID readers identify the position of the vehicles and check for abnormalities, such as the car being moved or damaged. In the event of abnormalities, the system notifies the manager of the parking lot via text message or email.
