Landscape cognition of large facility on the coastal- A Case Study of Wind Turbines in Taoyuan to Changhua Coast

| Popis: | 101 Taiwan's coast areas varied terrain and beautiful scenery, the people always loved this recreation, the west coast rich in wind resources, so in recent years, the government set up a number of wind turbines in the coastal areas, causing many visual landscape controversy. Therefore, this study aims to (1) Coastal landscape visual impact of large-scale facilities. (2) explore the masses of Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Changhua Coastal landscape of wind turbines cognitive semantic evaluation. (3) explore influence the masses of the wind turbine evaluation of cognitive semantics homogeneous landscape units. (4) Finally, the regression equation find out suitable location to set wind turbines and quantity. Facilities for large objects - wind turbines on studying the impact of mass psychology, in coastal current condition and simulation photos, with six two-pole relative term cognitive semantics of questionnaires, additional wind turbines feelings after evaluation of cognitive semantics, to analyze the creation of regional coastal wind turbines position. The regression analysis found that the number of wind turbines close range, close range vegetation area, panoramic water area, the mountains vegetation perimeter and mountains vegetation area is affecting the participants on various cognitive semantic evaluation factor. Finally predicted various types of landscape, close-range can be set to the optimum number, found in the coastal Dayuan, Taoyuan County, Taoyuan County and Hsinchu County to the coast, flat, broad vision and more without shelter, close-sight can be set one wind turbine; Miaoli County Houlong coast, hilly terrain, not only undulating terrain, depending on the region contains close-range vegetation, water bodies, vegetation, mountains regression impact factor, close-range sight can set two wind turbines; Fangyuan in Changhua coast, because fish farms, agricultural land all over, there are close-range vegetation, water bodies such as regression impact factor, close-range sight can set two wind turbines. Visitors on the landscape of the close-range wind turbines, close-range and distant mountain vegetation most profound feelings, so build wind turbines on the coast should be considered staying as far away from tourist favorite, sightseeing place, so as not to affect the landscape quality. |
