Intelligent Security System Based on Multi-level Multisensor Fusion Algorithm

Popis: | 100 An intelligent security system based on multi-level multisensor fusion algorithm was developed, validated and reported in this dissertation. The main purpose of using the fusion theory in combination with multi-level multisensor is to increase the accuracy of detection and hence to reassure the human security. This module-based security system may consist of two types of modules, active detection modules and passive detection modules, which are controlled by HOLTEK microchip, the control unit. The active detection module is a smart mobile robot; the passive detection modules may include fire detection module, intruder detection module, environment detection module, gas leakage detection module, AC power detection module, and appliance control module. Associated with each passive detection module are two types of interface: RS485 and RF wireless; while the mobile robots are wireless. Each detection module can transmit signals to the control unit via either RS485 or RF interface and to mobile robots wirelessly. An audio device is equipped to broadcast the event status in real-time. A user interface along with a multi-level fusion structure is employed to enhance the detection accuracy. Every module can be supervised through the user interface, Internet, or cell phone. To increase the detection accuracy, we employed multiple fusion algorithms which are composed of the followings: weighted average method, logical filters, redundant management method, Bayesian estimation, and Dempster-Shafter evidence theory. To validate the system on the experimental platform, we used lighter to act as a gas leakage and fire source. Both the wired and wireless module in both gas and fire detections were successfully verified, as well as the team-robot system in gas detection. |
