Popis: | 100 The topic of the thesis is about Johannes Brahms’ “Variations and Fugue on the Theme of Handel, Op.24”. The substantial composition was completed in September 1861 as a present for Clara Schumann. This composition was constructed of twenty-five variations and concluded with a huge fugue. Pianistically, it is as virtuosic as any composition Brahms ever composed. It is the foundation of piece analysis and let me know how to present this work accurately when I performing. Combine the theoretical analysis with performance, one is able to further understand the artistry and inner value of the composition, and also closer to the musical style of Brahms while performing this composition. This thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter one - Brahms' life and compositional style of the Introduction, Chapter two - Introduction to Piano Variations, Introduction to Brahms piano works, the creative concept of the Brahms Variations and Brahms' Piano Variations, Chapter three -〈Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel 〉Introduction, introduces the creative background of the song for music structure analysis, Chapter four -〈Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel 〉interpretation, the interpretation of the song for the direction, each variation of song in melody, rhythm, harmony and sound effects put forward my personal interpretation of the main points, and different performers recorded sound data for the version. |
