| Popis: | 100 Writing diary with photos is a growing trend in the information-based world. The old photos are considered to be precious as they not only provide clues to trace back the life of the old days like writing; but also unlock without language barrier the secrets of the visual culture of the old generations through the settings, pros and the clothes of the characters. By weaving the photos together chronologically, Lady Sue-Yu Chen’s stories were told and her spirit was expressed without boundary. The study purpose of this paper is to perceive the spirit and meanings of life she identified as well as discover the development of Taiwan visual culture through photos, that is, let the photos talk. Through the study stories of Lady Sue-Yu Chen, it helps to understand the value, cultures and social perspectives of a Christian woman born during the late Japanese times and to portrait the life stories of other women at the same time. |
