Delay-Dependent Controller design for Uncertain Interval Type-2 T-S Fuzzy Singular Networked Control Systems with State and Input Time Delays

This thesis considers the uncertain singular network control systems with state and input transmission time delays and packet loss. Both stability analysis and controller design are investigated. This research models an uncertain singular network control system as an interval type-2 T-S fuzzy system and uses the concept of parallel distributed compensation to design the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy controller. Adopting the Lyapunov stability theory, the selection of the Lyapunov functional considers the delay-dependent property. Using various inequality schemes to re-formulate the nonlinear items of the stability condition, the stability condition of the considered singular network control system is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Moreover, this work uses the change of variable to obtain the controller gain matrices of the system. As a result, the Matlab LMI toolbox can be used to solve the controller gain matrices via linear matrix inequalities. Finally, to verify the correctness of stability analysis and the fuzzy controller design, this thesis simulates and analyzes several numerical examples. From the simulation results, it is seen that the proposed controller stabilizes the whole system and has better dynamic response than that using the traditional fuzzy controller.
