In the field of art, artists share common influences for artistic creation, although different artists use different expression techniques. The author’s creations employ life experiences and exhibition backgrounds to interpret the formation of consciousness and derive concepts by observing surrounding theories all to present a relationship between artistic works and consciousness of natural environments. Through deconstructing, localizing, collaging, and associating processes and the restructuring of works, the author attempts to create a new meaning for sculpture. Therefore, the author composes her works with practical, humorous, and playful techniques to create different experiences and perceptions for viewers. She also encourages people to face difficulties and challenges in life with a similar lively and humorous attitude. The author re-sculptures and re-shapes existing objects. Instead of focusing only on aesthetics, she considers how the life experiences of creators themselves can induce deep inner reflections through metal works, and seeks to create with a story-discovering attitude. The author selects iron for metal crafts; the material is an existing object which the author has chosen for her metal creations. From collecting art works, preparing literature, creating, and analyzing art works to completion, this article is divided into five sections. The first section details the motives, background, purpose, and scope of the creations and study methods. The second section discusses and investigates theories from previous studies pertaining to the form and meaning of creations. The third section examines the theme and content of creations. The fourth section analyzes the methods and techniques of the creations. Finally, the fifth section presents the conclusions and academic contributions of this study, recommendations for insufficiencies of the creations and future improvements, and future research directions.
