Popis: | 100 Almost all of products are composed of many components which need to be assembled together to the main body. The main assembly method is locking with screw to the tapped hole in the body. Therefore, tapping is a necessary process to produce tapped holes for assembly. Two types of tapping are generally used : floating tapping and rigid tapping. Rigid tapping can produce better quality with higher through put. The key issue in rigid tapping is the synchronous control of the spindle and Z-axis motion to ensure the quality. This research is mainly to study and design the control strategy to have better synchronous control of the spindle and Z-axis with spindle performance much worse than the Z-axis and the spindle drive has significant time delay. System model was build for simulation and was verified experimenting with a domestically produced tapping machine. A series of control strategies was designed and simulated with MATLAB Simulink, in which a new control strategy was proposed named Non-Cross Couple PI Synchronous Control (NCC-PISC). It has been shown that the proposed control strategy (NCC-PISC) can deliver much better performance for synchronization than all other studied. |
