Cooperative spectrum sensing plays a key role in a wireless cooperative cognitive radio system. This thesis describes a Cooperative spectrum sensing with reliability measurement architecture. In the proposed Cooperative spectrum sensing architecture, each cognitive radio user decides the primary user is active or not by the conventional energy detector. These sensing users will determine the results and transmitted to a reliable measurement of decision-making center to complete the detection result of the cooperative spectrum sensing. In this decision-making center with the reliability of measurement, we use a simple measurement algorithms to assess the reliability of each sensing user. The reliability of measurement results, we will have a weight value corresponding to each sensing user and as a combination of the basis on sensing of the user message to the decision processor. We also use computer simulations to verify the proposed architecture. According to the results of computer simulation, the proposed architecture has a better system performance than the traditional majority rule of cooperative spectrum sensing systems.
