Popis: | 100 The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of emotional labor, work motivation and job satisfaction of special education teachers. The subjects were the special education teachers in seventeen special education school for the students with intellectual disability. 350 questionnaires were distributed and 333 valid questionnaires were collected with 95% return rate. The collected data was analyzed by the statistics methods of descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows: First, the current situations of special education teachers’ emotional labor, work motivation and job satisfaction are at the high-intermediated level. Second, the teachers’ emotional labor varied partially by gender, work seniority, and educational background. Third, the teachers’ work motivation varied partially by age and work seniority. Fourth, the teachers’ job satisfaction varied partially by age, educational background and job position. Fifth, A positive correlation was observed between special education teachers’ emotional labor and work motivation. Sixth, special education teachers’ basic emotional expressions and surface acting can positively predict the overall job satisfaction. Final, special education teachers’ work conviction and work attractiveness can positively predict the overall job satisfaction. Implications and suggestions for educational organizations, schools, teachers, and future studies were provided accordingly. |
