The Study of Using Variables and Negative Effects in Social Networking Service Sites

| Popis: | 100 In recent years, the Social Networking Service Sites rose successfully. According to the findings of 《Business Next》, the top two websites were Facebook and Wretch in 2011. Therefore, this study used these two websites as examples and aimed to understand users’ motivations and negative effects in Social Networking Service Sites. According to the results, it divides factors into five constructs which affect users’ selections for Facebook, including sociability, information, games, relations and entertainment. It also divides factors into five constructs which affect users’ negative effects, including lack of privacy, time-consuming, disturbed by others, lack of a sense of reality and imperfection of the systems. Besides, it divides factors into three constructs which affect users’ selections for Wretch, including functions, interaction and shares. It also divides factors into three constructs which affect users’ negative effects, including lack of privacy, imperfection of the systems and imperfection of the functions. This study conducted a questionnaire survey for Facebook and Wretch users to explore the user behaviors in SNSs. We look forward to the results can explicitly reflect the user's motivation variables and negative effects. |
