The development of Internet has provided fertile ground for the rapid growth of Internet services. Nowadays, Internet users have many Internet services to choose from. The Internet service providers must also find ways and means to attract users in the midst of this competitive environment. This research involves studying the relationship between Internet services and users, specifically from the perspective of (1) habit and (2) personality. They are often considered to be enduring characteristics associated with user behavior. This research included 23 commonly seen Internet applications to consider how users who are different in Big Five Personality traits influence users’ frequency in using these services. This research obtained the results that personality does affect how frequent users use these applications but differ in the influential traits. This research also developed a model that considered the impact of habit, trust and quality on IT continuance intention in the context of habitually downloading free software through specialized downloading websites. It was shown that habit has a direct influence on continuance intention. However, there was also evidence of considered decision in term of determining the quality of the downloaded software.
