The purpose of this thesis entitled “A study on the analemma correction application for the embedded solar tracking system” is to produce the maximum energy from any kind of solar panels. By using the single chip 8051 as the control core to develop the embedded system, this system can track the sun’s path and obtain the maximum illumination at any position during the day time. This experiment is automatically executed every 5 minutes and the driven power supply for the whole device is based on 5V and 1A only. Compared to the recorded data of the Central Weather Bureau, the results show that the error percentages are 0.0034% for the Sun’s elevation and 0.0037% for the Sun’s azimuth respectively. Also, the illumination of the Sun can be expressed by the function of voltage variable.
