| Popis: | 100 Education is one of the most important parts of one’s life. A person dedicates most of their youth in education by going to schools and universities. Traditional teaching method of teachers using a whiteboard and marker pen to lecture can be inconvenient for many reasons, resulting ineffective learning experiences. An interactive whiteboard enhances the learning experience. With features such as touch interface and annotation, learning can be creative and effective at the same time. With commercial interactive whiteboard costing a fortune, schools in rural and remote regions may not be able to afford them. The objective of this thesis is to present not only an affordable interactive whiteboard, but also its integration with handheld devices to achieve tele-presentation. The proposed method uses Microsoft Kinects for pen detection and wireless technology to display handwriting tracks onto handheld devices for further interactions. Techniques dedicated to perform noise filtering and line smoothening has been applied to the system to ensure its performance and accuracy. |
