Popis: | 99 The purposes of the study are to explore the effects of leader-member exchange (LMX) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and then to observe how employee envy negatively moderates the quality of leader-member exchange and organizational citizenship behavior by using a sample of 94 hospitality industry employees. The results from One-Way analysis support the study model that employees who have high-quality leader-member exchange (LMX) volunteered more organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and vice versa. Employees with low-quality LMX were more likely to experience employee envy. Ultimately, employees who have higher level of envy inhibit their helping behavior (i.e., OCB). The conclusions and implications for the future are discussed. |
