Popis: | 99 This study is about the research and development of a solar tracking system. The major properties of this design are the applications of the oblique-stretch structure and the cross-axle mechanism. The oblique-stretch design satisfies the requests of lightweight and stability, while the cross-axle design captures system’s gravity center to lower the driving force and the cost. According to the creative mechanism design procedures, patents and literatures about all solar tracking system were collected, classified, and analyzed. The summarized results provided the reference direction of this study and the definitions of major functional requirements. A new solar tracking system was designed according to the functional requirements. CAD software was used to construct the 3D model and to ensure interference-free condition. CAE software was used to perform structural stress analysis to understand the stress distributions under three different working conditions. Finally, a prototype was built and tested. |
