Popis: | 99 This research describes a novel approach that allows user to design transfer function by swarm intelligence. Despite a voluminous literature, features of interest are characterized by a transfer function defined of the original volume intensity. This research propose a framework of designing transfer functions, which map the alternative features extracted from volume by bionic algorithm to opacity. Swarm intelligence (SI) system for this approach is made of a population of simple agents interacting locally with one another and with volume data. The agents will scatter around in the volume data and approach to the area that contains the features. Their flights inside of volume data are not only based on the solution optimization but also governed by the global optimization, After agents finish searching the feature part of volume data, transfer function can be automatic modify by the behavior of agents. With agents, we don’t have to visit the whole volume data but only the features we need. |
