Investigation and analysis on the satisfaction of environmental rehabilitation after Typhoon Morakot at campuses in Pingtung county affected by the disaster

| Popis: | 99 The current study aims to explore the satisfaction degrees about the environmental restoration among the faculty and staff of the ravaged schools in Pingtung County, scrutinizing the differences of the satisfaction degree concerning the environmental restoration and the overall reestablishment after disaster by analyzing various background variants and pinpointing the correlations of the satisfaction degree of the environmental restoration and the overall reestablishment after disaster. This study adopts a questionnaire survey method, using “the satisfaction scale of the restoration of ravaged schools after disaster in Pingtung County” as a research instrument with which we make samplings among the ravaged schools in Pingtung County and analyze the responses of these questionnaires, hence achieving the conclusions as follows: Regarding the main-construct of satisfaction degree of the environmental restoration after disaster, the satisfaction degree of all sub-constructs reaches “above average”, with the exception of one sub-construct “air quality”. 1.Regarding the main-construct of satisfaction degree of the environmental restoration after disaster, except the air quality satisfaction degree “below average”, all sub-constructs reaches “above average”. 2.Regarding the main-construct of satisfaction degree of the reestablishment after disaster, all sub-constructs reaches “above average”. 3.Under different background variants, five sub-constructs of the “overall environmental restoration after disaster” main-construct vary remarkably, namely, water resources, waste disposal, air quality, sanitation and facilities. 4.Under different background variants, two sub-constructs of the “reestablishment after disaster” main-construct vary immensely, namely, the overall satisfaction degree of the post-disaster reestablishment from the central government and the overall satisfaction degree of the post-disaster reestablishment from the local government. 5.A manifest correlation was found in the overall satisfaction degree of the reestablishment after disaster and the environmental restoration. |
