| Popis: | 99 It’s for long the focus of transport policy to develop public transportation system, in particular the bus, it’s the most cost-effect and flexible means of transportation which can be built low cost, timely, and to response in real-time. In the recent years, the Ministry of Transport and Communications invest a lot of budget in establishing the dynamic bus information system in use of information and communications technology to assist the public and private sectors. Although a large number of resources were invested in dynamic bus information system, the system may not be operational for long, as a result of the not permanent subsidy, lack of stable equipment and maintenance fees, or the transfer fee too high and other factors. As for the citizens, the system is built but not with proper operability, not providing the right information, for a long run, it affects users' perception on the system and increases the distrust on the system, it’s a significant problem for MOTC to solve. In this study, expert interviews is used to find out the critical success factors in dynamic bus information system, the structure is built by following the example of the evaluation model. It’s found that in order to build a proper operational dynamic bus information system, it’s required to address the following needs： the operator need to provide mature technologies and stable equipments, users should be able to provide consistent information on the correct and stable, reasonable cost of response in correspondence with the proper policy stipulated by county and city government officials. The study can be the future reference to follow for the county and city government if they were going to build Dynamic Bus Information System or similar system. |
