Popis: | 99 Deploying Femtocells in the house is typically used to improve the signal coverage and to increase the capacity for indoor users of cellular communication systems. While the orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) technique is used in Macrocell and Femtocells coexisting environment, in addition to avoiding inter-cell interference, there is a requirement to reduce the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal at downlink. Conventionally, distributed-coordination based tone reservation (TR) is adopted for reducing the PAPR for each cell. However, the distributed-coordination based scheduling scheme consumes a lot of computational time, especially for the case of large number of Femtocells within a Macrocell. A centralized-coordination (or point-coordination) based TR scheme is thus proposed to improve the scheduling efficiency. The scheduling of each Femtocell can be significantly simplified at the cost of only minor capacity loss. Several simulation results are provided to verify the performance of the proposed scheme under various usage scenarios and channel conditions. Specifically, as inter-cell interference becomes dominant to capacity (e.g., Femtocells are close to Macrocell base station or channels are flat fading), the resultant capacity associated with the proposed scheme is even larger than that of the conventional one. |
