| Popis: | 99 In the research, visual thinking is applied to study design of manuals. The cognitions and the evaluations were made by the reading processes from the users which to modify the design details and directions of the manuals. By applying visual thinking to classify the types and forms of the manuals objectively. Then choose an MP4 product to redesign three types manuals, and compare with the best manual which in the market for evaluating the effect of the manuals by means of Analytic Hierarchy Process. According to the measure results of readability, understandability, information search and sense of beauty, two of the redesign manuals are observably better than the best useful manual which in the market. Therefore, the manuals was designed by visual thinking can practice the design concepts effectively and realizable.In conclusion, in the process of designing a manual. We can understand use value of the manuals. We can design the easiler ways of searching information and operate all of instruction. When manuals are lacking for readablility and understandability, the use value of the manuals is decreasing. As a result, this research provides the suggestion for designing manuals and can be applied to design study in the future. |
