A Study on Waiting Experience in the Purchasing Innovative Technology Products - An Example of iPhone

The purpose of this study is using the waiting experience as a moderator and distributing the questionnaire via Internet and physical, to find out whether consumers’ waiting time perception, waiting control and time compensation that will impact and influence their purchasing behavior or not? The results provide the carriers with ways to cope with the situations while being in the face of hunger marketing hot products sale. The survey is conducted by distributing the questionnaires randomly with the public as population. The formal questionnaire is finalized with some adjustments based on the result of the pre-survey questionnaire template. The respondents completed the questionnaires either on hard copies or via online offerings. Through SPSS and AMOS software package of statistical analysis and the appropriate samples selected, the structural equation model is used as an analyze tool. Statistical result confirms that the decision of buying iPhone won’t be changed, even though the negative feeling of being in the waiting experience rises. The result also provides the best marketing strategies and recommendations which can be set as a successful model of selling “hunger marketing” product for carriers.
