Popis: | 99 In this essay, our main purpose is to explore the relation between top executive compensation and their performance. We focus on China concept stocks and the samples are from domestic China concept stock and non China concept stock listed in TEJ from 2005 to 2009. The research methods include multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Discussions were made to see whether incentive payments will enhance performance efficiently and to find the difference in performance between China concept stock and non China concept stock. Empirical results are summarized as follows: (1)The China concept stock’s performance and top executive compensation is better than the non China concept stock. (2)There is a significant positive relationship between executive compensation and firm performance. |
