Popis: | 99 "Seismic Design Codes of Buildings" was revised and promulgated by Ministry of the Interior On July 1, 1994. Although it''s graded by considering building requirement, importance, purposing use, but it still base on Reliability-Based Design. However, it''s not identified that is over engineering or just satisfies the requirement"Survive a severe earthquake, repairable after a strong one, resist a moderate". In order to find real seismic resistance of buildings, National Center on Research of Earthquake Engineering(NCREE) developed a scheme of psudo static pushover analysis based on Performance-Based Design for primary school to evaluate its seismic resist ability. We take a typical, low rised, RC structure school design with "Seismic Design Codes of Buildings", and analyze it with NCREE scheme. This paper discusses it''s serviceability by two cases. First one considers long direction brick wall brace and another not to find difference of performance and if short column effect occurs. It''s discovered that the peak ground acceleration of the two cases are over designed for current seismic design code. Long direction equivalent brick wall brace could increase the stiffness and seismic resistance, and decrease the average story displacement. Short column effect doesn''t occur in these two cases. |
