The Study of what impact to performance with outsourcing of IT project under IT governance

| Popis: | 99 The main purpose of this study is to explore “Is there any benefits on IT project outsourcing management or performance with enterprise which implement IT governance?” From the study, we wish to understand the impact on IT capability to IT project outsourcing, and thus obtain statistical data, as a reference when business decisions. After questionnaire survey, The data analyzed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis and structural equation model. The results showed that： 1. Enterprises which implement IT governance cultivated the information system outsourcing management capacity, and thus enhanced the performance of information system outsourcing. 2. The impact was not significant from IT internal capability of enterprises to IS outsourcing performance. Some companies'' strategy is to focus on information systems outsourcing. The study shows that this type of business does not make too much investment in developing internal IT capability, such as infrastructure, personnel and technology investment; however, the implementation of IT governance does improve the management of outsourced information system. For more organizations depending on information technology investment, such as the banking, government public sector bodies, or small and medium enterprises, the study recommended the implementation of IT governance system would be more appropriate, and also suggested that the academic community should develop a set of IT governance system to these enterprises which focus on information systems outsourcing. |
