Popis: | 99 Balanced scorecard, which is adopted by many profit and non-profit firms, is one of the most influential concepts in modern businesses. The purpose of this study is to investigate the value drivers using balanced scorecard in the construction industry. Results show that: 1. While firm price is a proxy for value, Financial performances, Customers performances, Internal-business-process performances, and Learning-growth performances have significant impacts on firm value. 2. As to indicators of all performances, ROA and net income percentage to sales are positively related to firm value in the Financial performances, cash operating cycle is negatively related to firm value in the Internal-business-process performances, average sales of employees positively related to firm value in the Learning-growth performances. 3. While Tobin’s Q is a proxy for value, Financial and Internal-business-process performances have significant impacts on firm value. 4. As to indicators of all performances, net income percentage to sales is positively related to firm value in the Financial performances, cash operating cycle is negatively related to firm value in the Internal-business-process performances. |
