The delamination of cutting surface is made by low-speed impact in drilling process for reinforced composite material. The delamination phenomenon will reduce the life-spam of composite materials. To study the behavior of delamination and thereby reduce delamination failure, the numerical model of delamination for composite plate in drilling process simulation, was established by using delamination failure criteria and finite elements analysis methods to the stresses distribution and trend of predict delamination failure. To verify the accuracy of numerical model of delamination in drilling process, the central composite design(CCD) program experiments based response surface methodology is applied in this thesis. The feed rate, spindle speed and tool diameter was set as experimental parameters the experimental plan, Then the experimental test results to be compared with the predicted results and discussion. The results show that when the feed rate to enhance and increase the volume switch cut, spindle speed increase delamination factor with the trend down; processing conditions on the fixed spindle speed, tool diameter, the greater the force generated by switching the greater the cut will increase the delamination composite sheet of thin experimental and predicted values, by analysis of variance ANOVA R2 values show that the impact of cutting tools for sheet delamination of the most significant effect, simulated by the finite element modeling and analysis of stress distribution after a maximum of 1.56MPa. In addition to this thesis by the establishment of drilling of composite materials, delamination prediction analysis and understanding of the impact of the relationship between the parameters, the results can be used to improve and enhance the quality of drilling composite materials.
