This thesis is based on Swedberg’s idea; the author divides the ideas--interests into ideal interests and economic interests, and takes social enterprises founded by minority entrepreneurs as analysis units, discussing how they gain social interests by business methods. The key finding in this research is that the ideal interests of social enterprises include “minority”, “environmental protection” and “NPO information lag”. In these enterprises, the bottlenecks they face most are means, which is choosing among business means, and the conflicts between managing methods and ideal interests. Although these enterprises are filled with ideal interests, yet the survival of their enterprises is the most important, and only when the minimal demand of them is reached, can their ideal interests get realized. This result of this research shows that if they want to realize their social interests, they have to depend on the benefits got from their business. Different from given ideas, if the minority entrepreneurs want to succeed, they must rely not only on ideal interests but also on the key point—economic conditions, and especially the latter which decide the directions the social enterprises develop.
