Popis: | 99 National Defense is the most important military topic in each country in the 21st century. It is also an essential method to check if a country can defend itself when a war occurs. Thus, the more developed a country is, the more emphasis it will put on national defense. It is especially crucial to take immediate action on national defense for a country that is faced with the threat of war. The research is set to study senior high school students’ viewpoints of National Defense Education. Take all the 12th graders in the three senior high schools in Yilan County for example. Based on documented analysis and questionnaire study, the aim is to know to what extent students understand about national defense and their attitude toward it. This study can also make improvements in national defense educational policies and teaching approaches. First, through military theories, definitions and laws of national defense, frameworks are used to outline the system of national defense education. Besides, to have further details of the students’ viewpoints, 1500 questionnaires will be answered by some of the 12th grade students of National Luodong Senior High School, National Yilan Senior High School, and National Lan-Yang girls'senior high school. Questions of the questionnaire including curricular content of military courses, the goal, standard and content of National Defense Education Policies, and the trait of the National Defense executive institution. It enables us to discuss students’ perceptions, degree of understanding, benefits, and comments. Then, we come to a conclusion by analyzing the result of the questionnaire and theoretical documents reviewed; probing into whether the content of National Defense Educational policies we use are proper or not by cross-matching the documents and questionnaires. Providing the study results of teaching goals, executive ways, teaching and course content to related-authorities. National Defense Education is one of the crucial policies in Taiwan. As for senior high school part, the propaganda, execution, course design and the related promotion campaigns are playing an important role in making benefits on National Defense Education. If we can combine all the resources and countermeasures, apply all the curricular content and techniques either when we are in peace or in war, the goal of upgrading National Defense Education can be reached. |
