The changes of Taiwan''s life insurance industry have been dramatically huge because there are many acquisitions or merge between those life insurance companies. Since the economic is being weak apparently, which makes insurance industry falls into a downturn. Therefore, how insurance industry company could find its competitive advantage in the intensive competition and keep having an outstanding performance beyond the others. Telemarketing has always being the main method of marketing for insurance enterprises which provides the lowest cost with the best result. In this research, the focus will be finding out the reasons of why telemarketing is the key method for life insurance industry marketing. Using two life insurance companies telemarketing as the case study, and interview with middle or higher telemarketing managers for understanding how insurance enterprises can make high profit by using telemarketing. Besides, this research can provide a relate resource for those who want to use telemarketing as their marketing methods. Hence, after interviewing with two companies, the key factors of telemarketing successfulness are as below: 1. The scales of telemarketing teams and the quality of marketing staff 2.
