This study aimed to explore the key success factors for cultural creation industry zone. We interviewed nine experts chosen from the public sector departments, industrial area, and academia groups of related cultural creation industry to finish this research. We established the key successful factor dimension and evaluation indicator for cultural creation industry zone by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Running Expert Choice 2000 software helped calculate and drive the weighted value. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Of the opinions contributed by those experts aforementioned, the cognitive basis of the academia group was obviously different from the others. They insist that it is “supple-mentary measure” that matters the most, while others hold that it is “operation man-agement” that triumphs. 2. As a whole, the order of the weighted value distribution of key successful factor di-mension for cultural creation industry zone is operation management (0.46), followed by supplementary measure (0.40) and sustainable operation (0.14). All in all, it is the operation management that matters the most. 3. Among the twelve evaluation indicators, the top-five goes to management team (0.1702), government support (0.1640), clear-cut positioning (0.1380), environment planning (0.1320), and marketing management (0.1012). The importance of the opera-tion management aspect is by all means so obvious, that it takes the three spots of the top-five. To the greatest hope of the researcher, may the conclusions digested above be heeded by government or private sectors for setting up cultural creation industry zone.
