Benefiting from the semiconductor process and device technique, we have much more breakthrough in medical electronic products and applications. And due to the improvement of the wireless transmission technology, the wireless portable medical instrument has become the important development to meet our requirements. This thesis is based on the 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology to materialize “the single channel lead I wireless ECG monitoring system”. This system uses 2.4GHz transceiver module to transmit the ECG signal from read-out unit to the terminal and it displays the ECG signal via Labview 8.5, for the professional medical members to analyses. Patients can move freely without the confine of the transmission line in 7 meters, the wireless transmission range. This thesis also achieves an peak detector to convert R-waves of ECG signal into digital signals for the purpose of calculating heart rate by measuring R-R intervals of ECG signal easily. The peak detector is made to stimulate and materialize integrated circuit by using TSMC 0.35um 2P4M CMOS process technique. This thesis is aim to make a set of cheap and small “single channel lead I wireless portable ECG monitoring system” to offer the patients and the professional medical members more timely and more convenient bio-signal monitoring implement under the assistance of the 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology.
