The purpose of this study is to discuss the relationship of empowerment and socialization with the turnover intention of Life insurance company sales persons, and to verify the effect of socialization. The study questionnaire data is collected from 223 sales persons of one domestic insurance company. The result shows that Empowerment has negative effect on employee turnover intention; The job meaning aspect of Empowerment has negative effect on employee turnover intention; Socialization has negative effect to employee turnover intention; The prospects for future aspect of socialization has negative effect on turnover intention. The co-worker support has positive impact on the relationship between job meaning and turnover intention. This study suggests that the concepts of job meaning and prospects for the future should be set up in the sales person training courses, so that the sales persons will establish strong identity on the meaning of insurance product to customers and the prospects for job future. Besides, more emotional interactions between co-workers will enhance the Retention rate of insurance sales persons. Keywords: Empowerment, Socialization, Turnover Intention
