Popis: | 98 Soybean is rich in isoflavones, while genistein and daidzein are reckoned isoflavones are reckoned to be the primary ingredients given with physiological function. Actually, there are studies that have found isoflavones are capable of anti-oxidation as well as directly suppressing free radicals, achieving to prevent atherosclerosis, proliferation inhibition against cancer cell, and induction of apoptosis of cancer. Besides, our study also discovered that genistein and daidzein in soybean is given with anti-oxidation and anti-inflammatory capability. In the experiment of genistein for anti-oxidation, it has indicated that the concentration of IC50 for O2, OH, and H2O2 is respectively as 16.14 μg/ml, 2.9μg/ml, and no effect. As for daidzein, the concentration of IC50 respectively is respectively as 196.63 μg/ml, 1.1mg/ml, and no effect so that it is confirmed that both are given with the competence of anti-oxidation. With the study of anti-inflammatory research, TNF-α can induce human aortic endothelial cells (HAECs) resulting in inflammatory reaction. When it is to evaluate the impact of adhesion on HAECs of genistein and daidzein on monocytes (U937), the results show that adhesion of monocytes on HAECs will then be inhibited along with the increase of concentration for genistein and daidzein. If western blot is used to analyze genistein and daidzein on HAECs cell on TNF-α for performance of induction of cell adhesion factors VCAM-1 and ICAM-1, the results indicate that genistein is comparatively more effective than daidzein with inhibition effect. As a sum-up of experiment results, they have shown that both genistein and daidzein are equipped with adhesion factor performance as induced from anti-oxidation and anti-inflammatory reaction. Therefore, it can result in prominent effect with prevention against arteriosclerosis, and it is expected to further research its anti-inflammatory mechanism. |
