The Research for the Improvement of Production Rate Regarding Substructure Construction of Bridge by Dynamic Simulation Method

Nowadays,bridges are commonly used in public constructions, it is widely used from highway to rail rapid transit elevated oriented,and to urban expressway bridges, therefore,a considerable amount is required for Construction. How to maintain the quality of the construction of the bridges in speed acceleration has been the goal of industry and academic, and among it, the characteristics of precast construction method happen to meet the demand, which in recent years has been widely used. Overlooking the running operation for more than three years of the Taiwan High Speed Rail, at the south of Bagua Mountain,Changhua is almost all bridge structured. Pre-cast lifting Construction (referred to as FPLM) is widely used during the entire construction period as one of pre-cast construction method. Looking at the current domestic construction method for FPLM related research, most documents are focused on the upper structure and the cost of production,and very few investigating done on substructures. Rapid completion of substructure is to allow smooth launching of the superstructure box beam foundation. Therefore,the introduction of this researched study is made on high-speed rail project under different tenders with different substructures work methods. The control of work duration or the resource utilization is still a discussion until today. This researched study on the substructures construction were made under the process model using the dynamic simulation software SIMPROCESS, through the dynamic simulation method,the overall hierarchical model can easily understand,and link through large entry procedure, a clear process of every internal work item of the facilities will be shown,and the overall construction sequence is shown through animation. However, the same resource condition were simulated to compare different Construction methods with different Construction production rate, where construction records were recorded to verify the simulation results. In addition,again through sensitive analysis method to assist quick searched for better resource quantity, to see the rate of resource utilization and to improve the idle situation from the result statement. Again, an initial purchase cost were added to temporary resource into the model,to lower temporary resources, to probe resources to rate and to improve the effectiveness of the resource costs. This researched is made in hope to prove that the software used can be applied on construction simulation,to provide future reference in projects planning and decision making.
